Made this microscope as my first try at a VR prop for my friend’s upcoming VR title. I went a bit too extreme with the lowpoly to test myself. I used my usual workflow of Blender, Substance painter, Marmoset & Photoshop. The whole prop is at 3,436 triangles with a single texture set. Renders were done inside Blender with Cycles Rendering engine. Goal was to achieve somewhat of a vintage esque slightly apocalyptic look with it.
Thanks for taking a look at my stuff. May you have a nice day/night.
a bit more stuff on my artstation if anyone wants to check out including a sketchfab viewer

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Thats such a great honor, Thanks bart
The only thing that I would suggest is that you try making the paint-job “clean.” I really don’t think that a laboratory microscope would be “grimy.” It just doesn’t feel quite right to me. Very nice model.
