I’ve already shared this in a bunch of platforms, and wanted to share on this one too.
I modeled this violin in Blender and textured in Substance Painter.

This project was a blast to do!

Nice work. Perfect example of good solid quads modelling and very realistic textures.

Beautiful stuff. Was it tesxtured in Blender or something like Substance?

Thanks, I used SP for texturing.

Looks better than mine. My violin has all node generated textures.

Give Substance Painter a try

I love the textures, nice work!

Nice and used Violin. This tells a story. A very loved Violin, as told by the scrapes and weathered look. As a Violin player myself, I find this very great and inspiring.

@michalzisman this the nicest violin render I’ve seen in a long time. I know I’ve searched a many CG trading sites (for one for a logo I made for our violin ensemble). Thanks for sharing.

Wow, looks nice!

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Very interesting project! A lot of subtleties and shades in the textures; a perfect harmony between tones. Congratulation
