Violin. Modeled in Blender 2.90, Rendered in Cycles 400 samples with Denoiser. Textures: Photoshop and Blender nodes, PBR Materials.
Everything about this is perfect. Awesome work.
chef kiss lovely
Thanks you very much!!
Thank you very much
It looks great, that violin head scroll just looks like a nightmare to model and the body’s curves looks just fine omg.
But it lacks some fine detail. For example the strings should not be the same thickness (it looks like all of them is a G string), and usually the bottom and upper part of the string is braided colorfully. The violin tailpiece’s texture looks off, its usually made out of plastic novaday or box wood, which have a finer grain to it (i cant realy describe it but if u search for tailpiece reference you will see its a bit different) And on the close up of the head, it seems like the fingerboard is plastic, im not sure, its a sudle detail but it should be rosewood, it also has a very fine grain like the boxwood. And the fingerboard and the nut is two separate piece, cheap practice violins tend to have this two part made in one piece. And at last the bow’s tension screw should be half the length, but at this point its realy just very small detail.
sorry if i got carried away but i just realy liked this render and i wanted to share with you my tought.
The modeling is perfect, the materials are realistic and the scene looks great.
Only thing that you might want to add to make it more realistic is imperfections, wear and tear in some areas.
That’s amazing. Looks so clean, congrats!
I featured you on BlenderNation. Stay safe, and have a great weekend!
Very sharp! Lovely.
One problem though, the bow has no hairs. It’s just a cylinder thingy
Buen trabajo compañero
Muchas gracias Fernando, abrazos!

lovely! Would love to see it with some surface imperfections added
