Who said, waves are for oceans and lakes only ? 
I made a proper and highly customizable geometry nodes modifier for having loop-animated waves / oceans out of the box … but wanted to try “waves” in a different way … It ended up with some virus infected zombie arms with worms-under-the-skin-like pulsating infection.
