Vision - Blender Short Film

I realized that I’ve been working on this project for about two months when I finished it.
Creating a large scale environment was quite different from everything I’ve done before and It was very difficult to model, texture and render on my laptop.
Also, I used particle hair as a character’s hair seriously at the first time ever in this project.

If you have any questions, please ask me freely!
EDIT: Thank you Joseph! Here is the thumbnail and some other images from my video.

Wow, this is really cool! Was there anything special you had to purchase to create this short film?

No, I’ve never spent money to purchase addons, softwares and courses to create my works.

Wow, this is really impressive. I am just getting started with 3D and looking for some tips do you have some?
What is best way to start using Blender?
That you for your time, looking forward to watch other animations you make.
Cheers and good luck.

Yes, I’ve learned many great tips from YouTube Videos and, I have some tips that may be help you to learn and create your own works with Blender.
First of all, You need to focus on what do you want to create with this software. I usually just write some concept to feel the atmosphere of work easier. If you don’t know how to turn your concept into real work, you are better to search the best and fastest way to make it possible on Internet.
For example, I wanted to make my character more realistic at 4~5 months ago. So, I just searched “how to make realistic 3D character” on Google and I reached some videos.
After watching the videos, I noticed that I need more knowledge and skills of sculpting, retopology, UV-unwrapping and texturing to make that possible for me. The process of learning was very complicated and I can’t explain it easily, but it improved my work greatly and make most of my recent works possible.
Of course, I learned many other things to make my work better than my past ones, such as lighting, rendering and compositing. But I think the most important things to improve your skills is understanding what you really need to do and learning it for you.
Anyways, I’ll explain more concrete tips I’m using.
1, UV-unwrap your mesh and bake the textures into it to render fast.
2, Make the background objects simple as possible to render fast.(For instance, trees of the background are some alpha images in this scene.)
3, Use free addons, CC0 contents and some other softwares to save your time.
4, Do not overworking, listen to your favorite music when you feel exhausted and take some walk to keep you healthy :).
If you want more tips, please ask me what category of tips you need.
(Pardon my English, It’s not my first language.)

Thank you for your reply, as you can see English is not my first language also, those are great tips.
Everyone is telling me start with Donat tutorial but its quite long and i forget things that i watched first. Thats why i am asking for tips and tricks about how to stay focus and how to start.
For example i want to create city destruction like doomsday scenario or something like that.
First roadblock is to generate city.
Thats why i am still looking, not sure should i learn Blender or Maya?
I was looking into Houdini also, its just to complicated with its nodes at this point.
What are your thoughts?
Thank you for your time and help.
Cheers.

3D is hard, if you have trouble making the donuts or simple tutorials I don’t see how you’ll manage to make a post-apocalyptic city which is much more complex.
But yeah probably by using a lot of addons and pre-made assets : https://kitbash3d.com/products/warzone you can cut some corners.

Best is to accept that it’s difficult and learn step by step, expect 6 months or a year doing simple exercise until you can start doing something cool. It’s like learning to play guitar or how to dance.
You need to enjoy the process of learning small things, if what you’re after is only the end result you might be quickly disappointed ! But once the difficult part is over it can be really fun and worth it !
