Here’s a parody I’m working on. It’s based on this music: watch?v=oOaDCv-pmVo
Serious business

What’s done:

• “Pre-production” i.e. concept, script, story board, choreography
• Locations and characters modeled, textured and lit
• 3d camera rig made and tested

What’s unfinished:

• Rigging and animation
• Main character’s clothing
• Minor geometry flaws, eyes/nose looking weird when viewed from an angle etc.
• Other small details like shadow buffer resolution and eye texture that should be mirrored.

Did I miss anything?

Now I built a stereoscopic projector that works with RealD 3D glasses from the cinema. It took few days to set up, mostly the software but it works fine. I have to make a better screen for it, but for the moment this one (two pieces of tin foil) will do.

Watch this on FULL SCREEN, the bigger the better. To see the “3D” you need a pair of traditional red/cyan glasses. However the video looks OK without them as only objects out of focus have depth (like in real life).
