Below Volvo Open 70 stylized boat render. Main goal is to animate model but it seems to be long trip.
So far the most difficult is full control of jib (genoa sail) and main sail during action. Example: bottom line (foot) of jib sail should be as curved as in the middle (now is almost straight). When simulate wind force I have no control over that part of sail.
For controlling sails I’m using armature but I’m not sure if it is good solution for that purpose.
Another problem is probably not adequate stifness of sail material. IMO it is too flexi but when I slide up with structural parameter nothing change. Sail is still to flexible.
Any hints wanted:D
