'VR Motion Capture' released! Add-on for Blender

Hi, developer of Freebird here (VR addon for Blender).

I’m happy to release “VR Motion Capture”, an add-on for Blender:

This add-on lets you animate objects in Blender using VR Controllers. You can move objects or bones directly with your hands, and record their animations (as keyframes) to the timeline.

It works directly inside Blender 3.0 (or newer), and does not require any additional software.

It is helpful for experimenting with new styles of animations easily in Blender, like virtual puppetry, by attaching objects to VR Controllers and the VR headset.

You can also program the buttons on the VR controllers to control shapekeys, or run custom python functions.

It’s available at https://freebirdxr.com/vr-motion-capture . I’m happy to answer any questions here, or at Freebird’s friendly Discord community.

Thanks!
