Thank you!
Great work. Nice contrast between organic and mechanical.
This is amazing, super creepy.
The decals and imperfections are chefs kiss
Really strong work. Congratulations! The harmony between the shapes is perfect, as well as the arrangement of the lights.
Thanks so much!
Thanks man!
I’m curious: can you elaborate on what most of the complaints were?
I have to compliment you on a technically well-done image. To me, the imagery is a saddening, sterile, dare I say “inhuman” view of the direction we are heading – but all you have done is to realize (very well) the discourse of probably hundreds of SciFi works. This IS a provocative work – but that takes me back to my original question: on what grounds were the complaints? such that you felt obliged to take down the image?
The projected date of 2093 is written in very small print. Perhaps if you had included a large image header: “One day in 2093…” … although I seriously doubt we will have to wait that long.
Was it Aliens-3 in which Ripley (Sigourney Weaver’s character) discovers that she is merely one of hundreds of alien-human hybrid-cloning experiments … with other instars currently growing in tubes?
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Mass reporting?? None so weird as folk. Excellent image, the contrast between the organic and the metal really works.
Thanks Bart! As always.
Thank you! I worked a LOT on the lighting
