I’ve modeled, textured and rendered the original Walkman from 1979, while testing out the Blender 4.3 beta. The Oren–Nayar reflectance model for rough surfaces makes a huge difference, particularly for the headphone’s ear pads in these renders. All materials are procedural, except for an image texture with the labels and symbols.

Such a great detailed looking render, but I believe it would look even better if you color graded it, as it seems a bit log footage-ish. Love the texture of the earpads!
And repeatedly adjusting the azimuth on your computer’s data cassette recorder, hoping it will adjust the alignment just that bit to get rid of that darn load error.
