Definitively yes! Lot of improvement on the lightnings.

I spent some time watching it in fullscreen and I like it. There are only 3 things that bug me.

First, what’s that unclean framing on the letters? The image is made of clearly defined shapes except for the lightnings which are like they must be… and that weird framing which isn’t really useful. I’d lose it.

Second, the material of the tentacles is weird. They look hollow in some areas. Fix it and reduce a bit the luminosity maybe. I’d also modify the curve of the tentacle at the bottom of the initial “A”. The angle at which it attaches with its “head” is strange.

Third, it seems there is some hint of yellow light at the foot of the second “A”.

Last, before to declare it “done”, I’d try some other colors instead of the cyan. Most probably yellowish or orange-ish. But maybe it’s just me who don’t like cyan.

I won’t mention a vignette. It seems to be quite trendy in the Blender world nowadays. Try just to see if you like it.

And don’t give a crappy JPEG to your friend! Lossless PNG, please… :yes:

Edit: I forgot the background! It just means that it’s good. It’s there but easy to forget.

I changed the angle of the tentacle to a more straighter insertion. I made the tentacles alot darker to so they dont seem as hollow now. Removed all remaining yellow that was in the scene. Kept the cyan I really like the look of cyan which is why I chose to use it from the beginning and I think it really compliments the lightning. And I def made a png version of this picture aswel

Alright! Just because I like to complain, there’s a tiny default on the back side of the “R”. Some white light is reflected where it shouldn’t. And I still have that impression that the 3 bottom tentacles are hollow because of their 3 red lines. 2 bright ones like the other tentacles and a 3rd slightly darker as seen through a transparent material. BTW, I would tilt all the curves so that these 2 red lines are not so obvious, to be more like the one on the top of the initial “A”.

Apart from that, I have nothing left to criticize. I even like the rough edges on the front face of the letters. For me, the job is done and (almost) well done.

Thanks alot for your help I appreciate it:) and sorry for taking long to reply been really busy and finally got a chance to sit down and complete it. I fixed the white at the back of the ‘R’. and changed the red lines so that they dont look as hollow.

It must be only in my head but I really can’t shake that feeling. The red reflections on the 3 bottom tentacles make them look hollow to me. Apart from that, I think it’s time to declare this work as finished or you’ll spend the rest of your life tweaking it… especially if you listen to me.
