Water in cup is to dark...

Have you enabled TraShadow for the water texture?

Um… no. I didn’t know.

Edit: I dont’ have a texture, will that matter?

Alright I tried it and it doesn’t help any :frowning:

Try bumping up the “depth” factor under raytransp for your water and glass.

What does depth do? Well, if you have two transparent objects, one in front of the other, and they have a depth of one, only the front one will be transparent, but only where the two objects cross.

EDIT: Also, you may want to include a .blend file if the above doesn’t work.

That didn’t help. I raised it from 2 to 9. I can post it tomarrow.
