Made a plane, subdivided it, made a grass blade, parented to plane and applied duplivert - ta-da, a field of grass.
Applied a wave effect to plane to try and make grass sway, but it all stays still, while the plane wobbles. Tried adding the wave effect before parenting too, but no good.
Anyone know how to make my grass sway ?

you could try adding the wave effect directly to the blade of grass and it would copy to the others.
