way to texture so render appears like 3d view?

Hello everybody ~~

I am creating a model for use in a game framework. For my purposes right now, the way a model appears in the 3d view with its grey metallic sheen, with the vertices visible, is just fine.

Is there a way I can uv map and texture the model, so it renders in the game as it does in the blender 3d view, more or less?
