I realised when I was trying to perfect this that it’s not about the 3d model execution, it’s not important.
It’s about the message.
The Iron Giant is inherently a weapon. Destroy all threats, period. But somehow a little boy showed a machine what real humanity is, at great risk to himself. Courage. We need more of that today.
Look up, whether it’s religion or whatever moves you forward in your path. Stick to that.

Thank you very much Bart, this made my day. I put a lot of love into that one. I’m actually working on the full model in Blender 5.0 as we speak because I want to look into rigging. Specifically the Mixamo workflow. My poor PC can’t really cope with animations, that’s why I default to stills but I reckon I am missing a lot of opportunities by ignoring rigging.
