We don't have a post count or join date?

I found it entertaining and curious to be able to easily see the join date of users. There were patterns that repeated themselves. Many in 2006, 2009, 2013, 2016… I was wondering if it was just causality, or was related to the release date of important versions of Blender. Just that, only important as a curious data for me.

Who’s this new guy, @bartv? He’s been here only two days. I don’t trust him.

OMG. I saw this discussion and noticed that @bartv’s create time was 2 days ago, making me afeared that somehow the user join dates hadn’t been imported correctly. The code clearly pulls in the date. The same date conversion works for posts. I guess we could for each user, find the earliest post and stick that date into their create_time; it wouldn’t be perfect, but it’d be a close enough approximation. But wait, why doesn’t my copy of the database have bartv?

And then I saw that we have a new Bart.

I should have noticed and believed the NOT-AN-ISSUE tag sooner.
