Weight Paint Problem

Hi to everyone,

I try to weightpaint on the skirt of the attached file and nothing happens … new vertex group is created but I do NOT see the change of the colour.

When I create a new scene and add a sphere to it, select it and switch to WeightPainting everything works fine so FGS somebody PLZ tell me where is the problem because it drives me insane. The file is attached so try it yourself if U will be lucky.

If some could explain where is the mistake I will be VERY appreciative…

It’s because face selection masking is enabled from the header and no faces are selected to paint on.
