Hello. I have a problem with making connection between different shapes.
Sometimes it just happens and breaks connection. I dunno how to describe it

it seems to be you connecing not at th e border and additionally sloped ??
(also first beveling and then subdiv seems to be a little strange… but that may be intentional)
