Looks like you just need to recalculate you’re normals.

Try SHIFT CTRL N

I dunno what hotkeys you have. If you’ve changed them from default, then It could be something else.

The shortcut you need is Shift+N in Edit mode

Shift+Ctrl+N is not what you want or need. It’s what you would use perhaps on a cube if you were intending to view the cube only from inside it (like a room perhaps)
