Weird reflection planes in a gloss/glassy shader?

Hi! I’m following through CGGeek’s TIE Fighter tutorial and I’ve got this weird artifact in the reflection on the glass. Anyone know what’s happening here? I don’t have any visible planes in my scene…TieFighter2.blend (1.1 MB)

Usually that is a setting in the light. Sorry. Forget the name of it in cycles. But you can turn it off so it does not show up in reflection. I think. At least you can in other aops.

Ah, I figured it out. I accidentally applied the glassy material to some panels on the back side of the mesh.

if you have a world HDRI It will reflect off the glass!

I think in world there is a transp set to remove this for the HDRI
