Hi
Looking for a good graphics tablet that can run Windows 11 and Blender, any recommendations ?
You can’t go wrong with Wacom though. By graphic tablets, do you mean the ones with or without display on them?
If you prefer the one without display, you can start with the cheapest one, that is One by Wacom. And if you’ve decided you want to go fancy, get the Intuos Pro series. I personally use a medium sized Intuos (not the Pro one) series tablet. It’s a workhorse, built like a brick, and since I bought it in 2016 it continues to work perfectly without any degeneration over the years.
If you mean the ones with display on them, though I like Wacom products I can’t seriously recommend Wacom One, because it’s just too small for a display graphic tablet. Forget it, and skip to Cintiq series. And if you intend to work long hours with them whereas experience is key, and you can afford it, get the Cintiq Pro series. However, the rule stands for the Pro series too, that you skip the 13 inch versions.
This is somewhat bias, since I’ve never used any tablet other then a Wacom, so its possible that one of the other brands could work out just as well, but I just don’t know.
A few things I would want/look out for no matter the brand is a battery less pen, all Wacom are like that, not sure about others.
The other thing you really need, which I use for both Krita, Blender or anything else, is configurable (per application) side buttons. While I have a bit of an older version, I use a medium size Intuos Pro (https://www.wacom.com/en-au/products/pen-tablets/wacom-intuos-pro).
I consider the smaller version just too small a drawing area, plus it only has 6 buttons on the side, while the larger edition was just too big for me.
The reason for the side buttons is so you can configure them as modifiers for panning/zoom/rotate or other very common shortcuts. This means you don’t have to go reaching for the keyboard all the time.
Thanks to all
