What software do you use to manage a library of 3D models?

Hello the most beloved community in the world!

Nowadays, it became part of my workflow to download free models that I get from Thingiverse, Sketchfab, Turbosquid, OpenGameArt, Warehouse… - to name a few.

The 3D file extensions are a real zoo, I get STL, GLTF, OBJ, SKP and many others. Sometimes I want to browse my collection and I have no good choices other than importing them directly into Blender - which takes some time for my processor to load, and afterall, I just wanted to see the model to choose or dismiss it. My library is getting bigger and I just needed a light and practical way to load and visualize the 3D models, no need to edit them, it need to be compatible with a large range of file formats.

I am searching and did not found a good option yet. Thank you in advance!

Which Operating System are you using?
In Windows 10 there is a 3D viewer by default that displays variety of 3D formats quite good (Most of the time it doesn’t load textures properly but it’s fine for a quick look to the mesh):

Something like this could be useful?
