For all the vintage 50’s-60’s strats I’ve seen over the years, I don’t think I ever saw a “brand new” one where it was perfectly preserved. So, I decided to make my own 62’ strat as if it had just came from the factory, without a single spec of wear.
Made it entirely by myself using Fender blueprints/patents. There are a few minor differences from the real guitar, but still I think it’s a nice recreation.
If you have any requests to see other parts of it up-close, feel free to do so.
Hope you guys like it.
Cheers!
Had to massively reduce the quality to be able to upload here:
The truss rod is (I think) the only part that I didn’t model as it’s hidden inside the neck and only accessible by removing the neck in these old models. But as you can see on the animations, the truss rod hole/screw are there.
Wow, what a great idea! It’s a nice change from all the making-new-guitars-look-old-and-worn aging manipulations that seem so fashionable nowadays - you did the reverse. Thank you for showing us a brand new looking very beautiful vintage guitar, I don’t find it boring at all. These a great renders.
Looks really good, especially the sunburst. Thought the camera movement and audio of 1st video really helped sell the illusion of reality. Quality stuff well done.
Could of found yourself a nice little niche of ‘How they looked new’ models. And your workflow would be cut in half
