As someone new to Blender, has anyone got a recommendation for an procedural addon that would be good in terms of creating plastic, glass or metal ? Perhaps something with a large existing library… …maybe even bake functionality too.
Clean, not necessarily grunge style, although metal can have scratches, and plastic very small bumps.
There seem to be many options out there.

I have Sanctus and highly recommend it. Most of the materials are “smart materials” which have options for wear and other things. Keep in mind that many of the materials, such as bricks and cobblestones feature displacement, so in order for them to work properly, the mesh needs to be quite dense. Also, you are getting all future updates, and it’s a constantly growing library.

Whats the glass like? I’ve looked at Sanctus videos, but not much is mentioned about glass. Kit Ops Pro has glass which properly treats the light coming through it onto objects below. Is this true of Sanctus too?

Is there an easy bake function in Sanctus?
I like his sci-fi panels materials too, but I didn’t see enough of it.
Kit Ops Pro appeals to me as well, but I can’t find a definitive list of materials in that. Plus Kit Ops can do other useful things too.
I am leaning towards Sanctus though. It seems like he’ll update and develop it more and more.

Yes, sanctus can bake any of the procedurals or node outputs.
(edit) In the current version there are 8 sci fi panels.
Is your render above in Eevee?
No, cycles. I can try one in Eevee…I have no idea what to expect because I don’t geerally use it.
