What's happening here?

Hello! I’m wondering what’s going on here with the rendering, I made a Witcher Medallion in blender 2.79 that I would like to try rendering with Eevee, however when I render the sculpt in 2.8 I get one side of the model in a strange white plastic-like texture, one side of the medallion however (the left spikes) looks the exact same as it does in 2.79. I’m wondering what this is and how to solve the issue.

I deleted the lights to see if that was causing the issue, but it doesn’t make any difference. Thanks for any help!

It looks like some faces of the model have a material assigned and others not.

You can select all faces and assign the proper material again to see if this fixes the problem.

Another one is to hard-delete all materials, shift click the X button and that would mark the material with a zero in front (eg: 0 Material). This means that now if you save the file, close Blender, open it again the materials are gone. Now you can import again the materials from 2.7 and assign them again to the object.

I don’t know if these work but it would worth trying.
