As it says really, if you use the period key to reveal an object in the outliner, it will reveal the first time it occurs, but where the same object is in multiple collections, if the other collection is further down out of view, you can’t see it.
If you open the attached blendfile select the cube and press period (.) in the outliner you’ll see what I mean - there’s another collection that contains it right down the bottom, it would be nice to be able to press period again and have the outliner jump to that 2nd collection.
