When appending, I get error message "Error, nothng indicated"!

I’ve created several models, and I wanted to practice bringing one modeled object from one blender file into another (appending).

I was able to successfully do this once FILE APPEND (and I clicked on the object) but couldn’t do it again with any other files.:no:

I know that only the blender files will show up in white letters, and then you’re supposed to click on OBJECT, but why am I getting this message “Error, nothing indicated”?

I’m pretty new to Blender…and I’m an a PowerPC Mac…thanks!

Just to check, you click on “object” then click on the object and hit enter to load it. I’m guessing you maybe right clicked on “object”, that’s when I get the same error message. If not, can you run through exactly what you’re doing?
