When are GIMP and Krita going to have AI?

I’m reading the page someone posted here where Adobe talks about all the cool new AI features in Photoshop, I wonder - when are all these coming to GIMP and Krita?? The Linux foundation is doing AI, right? So when are they going to do the AI that GIMP and Krita require? In fact even RMS was a researcher IN AI at MIT, right?
