One can create models with a realistic amount of detail, yet lack the finer skills to make that model come alive through good texturing and lighting.

Heh, ouch.:o That’s how I feel about my stargate model.

Yeah, I feel the opposite way about MY Stargate model. I never did finish modeling it.

Modelingis a good skill, and so is texturing and lighting, but the most important sometimes is simply animating it, and making it have emotion, even if it is only an object like a Stargate. And I’m terrible at animation.
