When I start Blender, nothing happens.

Hello all, first i’m french so sorry if my english is not correct.

So, I would like to learn how to use Blender but when I start it I got a Windows command prompt but nothing happens.

Maybe I forgot to install something I don’t know…

I try to install Python 3.3.3 64bits and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 but I have the same problem…

If you’re not comfortable, you can ask help in french in BlenderClan : http://blenderclan.tuxfamily.org/

But … for your problem : What version of blender do you use, what Windows version, is there some text un prompt, etc…
We need some more information to be able to help you :slight_smile:

I have Blender 2.69, Windows 7 64bits and no I have nothing in the prompt.

EDIT: I tried to install it on another computer and Blender started normally. I understand nothing…

EDIT 2: I re-install Windows and Blender is starting successfully.
