Where is the "Curves and Surface" panel?

I am following the tutorial at http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.4/Tutorials/Modeling/Curves/Making_A_Tube to make a curved tube.
I cannot find the mentioned “Curves and Surface” panel, no matter how much googleing I do.
What am I missing?

select your bezier curve and look to the properties panel on the right for the tab called “object data” you will see a section called “geometry” and in there the object for “bevel object”

That’s a tutorial for Blender version 2.4 and before. There was a major UI change in 2.5. You find it here:
