Where to get Blender 3.6 or 4.0 Alpha with Mesh To SDF Volume nodes?

So, it looks 3.6/4.0 alphas are no longeg in download section, so maybe theres some other places where it can be downloaded or someone can upload some of those old releases?

https://download.blender.org/release/

None of them have sdf nodes. All those builds are version where they was already removed.

This feature is not supported in the stabilization version.

Get blender 4.2 and use it.

Again:
New builds of ANY alpha versions which you can download from blender.org, or from there https://download.blender.org/release/
Are NO longer have “Mesh To SDF Volume node”. It was removed.

Take a look at the link

Again:
The node has been removed in the meantime with the transition to the grid socket design. Better to reconsider this when the node is back. I’ll close the PR.©
Right from your link.

And its not the full list of alphas which you currently can download where you DONT find Mesh To SDF Volume node.

The branch itself is on github - compile it.

Just to note that the link doesn’t work unless you are registered… which really I think most people here should be, and if not it is easily done with BlenderID. Still, figured it was worth mentioning in case the OP hits a 404 error clicking the link.

Just downloaded 4.2 alpha and there is Mesh to SDF there in experimental at the moment

4.2 alpha have “Mesh To SDF Grid” nodes. Its a different thing.

Where can I read what the difference is? I’m curious now.

You can find some videos on youtube related to using SDF in those alpha versions.
They was have a “mean filter” which operates at sdf domain. Its similar to “dynamesh+polish” pipeline, but better.

i have no idea on how to add that geo node with this, could you please direct me on how to do this?

Hi, for some reason I still have problem opening this link? gave me a 404 error, just wondering if it’s expired?

Are you sure you was logged in? Link works fine for me. Not sure which branch it is but i dont think its the right one.
