some operations encounter failure situations [which can do things like create 5-gons and stuff], where you get prompted that

for example, create a cube
subdivide it 3 times
convert to triangles (control+t)
beauty fill (alt+f)

doing just that will probably not cause blender to crash, but the shape of the mesh isn’t perserved how it should be
