Whole animation from 3DS MAX > Blender

Hi. I need to import an entire animation made in 3ds max into Blender. I am not familiarized with MAX. I downloaded the demo and export the animation to Blender as FBX. What workflow do you use?
I need all, including cameras, I can discard textures, but I need the structure exactly as it is in MAX.

Do you use alembic? or FBX? or something else?

Hope someone familiarized with max can let me know
Thank you

Edit1: It worked out quite ok with fbx. I can see the max file changes cameras in the animation. Is there any way to have those camera swaps also in Blender? I would like to have the same animation when I playback it.

Thank you

I doubt the camera swaps could be exported directly, but they can be re-created pretty easily if you have the cameras.

You need to create markers on the timeline (go to the frame of the camera swap and press M with the cursor over the timeline). Once the marker has been created, you can use the “bind camera to marker” tool, which will cause the camera to get swapped starting from that point.
