Just that I didn’t have to tweak a shadow setting at all to get them to look like this. I turned it to irregular buffers, clicked the auto-clip buttons and rendered. Usually I have to fool around with the buffer settings to get it to look right.

DoubleRing: Thanks. I always harp on composition when I critique other people’s work. Take a look in your local fine art museum at the abstract pieces, and they’re ALL ABOUT composition. I just took my little ladies to the Carnegie this weekend, and while they were fascinated by the realistic paintings, it was the abstracts with cool composition they wanted to sketch.
