Why can't I paint a subsurface color slot?

Im new to blender, and I like it!!

I try to paint a subsurface color but I can’t find the option to add a slot for that. How can I do that?

Because not have SSS Color option. SSS is not a part of PBR workflow normally.

Paint it as a base color, and then in the node editor, plug that into the subsurface color.
