Why is $0+ referred to as "Freemium"?

First of all, thank you for all your hard work towards the Blender community! I am sure Bazaar will be a great success.

Coming to the topic, the terminology confused me a bit as I have always considered freemium pricing to be: free at first, pay for more features. This is in contrast to the “Pay what you want” strategy(?) which is basically a form of donation or tipping. I am completely fine with adding affiliation to $0+, it’s the tagging that bugs me as it may be misleading to the users.

Good point! I think it would make sense to add a “Pay what you want” option there

I don’t think it’s a priority, let’s wait until this section settles down first and then make it a little sexier :slight_smile:
