Why is it different edit mode with object mode?


this is downloaded character,

i don’t know why but the right upper eye rash is shrinked lil bit.
there is no shape keys about upper eye rash.
what can i do?

it is okay with edit mode

new user’s number of comment is done…
there is no shape keys for eye lash…
if i set all the keys 1.0 but eye lash has not changed…

When you’re in edit mode, you are previewing what the shape key looks like at 1.0 influence. In object mode, you see whatever influence you have set- in this case, 0.0. You should find some basic tutorials about shape keys before diving into this, I think :slight_smile:

Select all bones and reset scale, rotation and position. If it won’t help try to set armature in rest position and see if mesh is ok. If so that means there is something wrong with rig constraints.

If mesh is different in edit mode than in object mode and there’s an active shapekey- in this case, scrunchfix.R- it’s a shapekey issue. Especially because it’s the right eye and that’s a right eye shape key

Don’t know. On both screens shapekey pin is unchecked, influence is set to zero. How it could deform mesh?

Ok. all you have to do is disable corrective smooth modifier. Like this.


If you still want to use corrective smooth modifier you should unfold it, choose Bind Coordinates in Rest Source drop-down menu, and finally press bind.
