Why is my render smoothed and not hardegded?


I never had this problem before today. Why is the render smoothed and not hardegded?

Have you added a subsurf modifier. You have failed to supply a blend file to review and your screenshot misses out the important information

No, theres no modifiers on this model. All the objects is seperated. Heres the blend file:

It has a subdivision surface modifier that subdivides on render

Also the mesh structure is quite bad, but the marked edges are the worst ones because those are connected and used to define multiple surfaces, instead of one.

Maybe I should try to reconstruct the whole thing then :slight_smile:


Im trying to remodel the building now with a better structure. Seems fine so far.
