Why is the shadow mirrored like that?

I’m getting this mirrored shadows on Cycles
Only when the sun has an angle, if the light comes from the top there’s no visible problem
I remember i’ve had this issue before but i don’t remember how i fixed it

I’m using symmetrical texture, if there’s no texture applied the lighning looks fine

Have you checked yr model for flipped normals?

I fink this is the problem, this is how the material is setup, i found that the normals might not be tangent, if i set anything other than tangent the problem is fixed

Your normal map is set to sRGB, and needs to be noncolor or normal.
