Why my hair curves aren't deforming?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering of if any of you knows why my hair curves arent deforming with my mesh. As far as I know there is no problem with the uv’s or my geo node system so I’m stuck.

Would you feel comfortable converting to mesh? be thoughtful! because as mesh textures and be stretched or fit differently than expected unless you move the verts carefully. I don’t know much about geometry nodes. Maybe if you want you can share your blend file? someone may be able to help.

Hard to tell from the screen shot, but check the setup/modifiers, etc of the hair curves, it should look a lot like this:

It’s the Surface Deform modifier that makes the hairs move with the base mesh. And its the base mesh you are moving, not the hair curves themselves.
The modifier of course needs to be active for viewport.
