Can the devs add a fifth button to toggle quad view right there?
That would make my “mobile” life so much easier.
What you are showing has nothing to do with what I’m asking tho. This is just somethng I miss from when I used C4D.
Very easy and intuitive way of switching views, it’s a paradise for tablet users.

Count me in, I would love to have that too…
It is unnecessary to use quad view only to switch between view with navigation gizmo.
What burnin means is that ability is there but by default Quad View in blender is locked.
Ctrl Alt Q Toggle will bring you back to your previous point of view.
You have to uncheck Lock option to be able to toggle to a standard view Top, Front, Right.
I think that will be a lot more intuitive to add a quad view icon. (I saw several videos of people searching for it in View menu during lots of minutes.) And it will not force user to modify quad view options for this case.
Wanting to quit Quad View to a standard view does not mean that you want to use navigation gizmo in this view.
It will be better.
