Try stacking some cubes set to dynamic then pressing p while the physics are set to sumo. You will see that the cubes will fall and hit the ground with a jerky motion. Exit the game and start it again but this time with Bullet physics set. The cubes should fall on top of each other. I don’t know how each works specifically but it seems that bullet physics are more exact.
Im not sure about ODE.
Experiment with a file like the stacking boxes with each physics system and you might find which one works best for your tastes or particular occasion.
