I don’t think so. Ton says the next project after Durian will be “Mango” and he wants to work with a small, most likely, Dutch, indie film group and improve Blender’s live action editing and special fx.

The way I think of it, Mango is to Durian as Apricot was to Peach. A lot of the development used for Durian will be useful in Mango.
