win xp compatible?

is the blender game engine win xp compatible? I gave an exe to someone and he said win xp wouldnt run it

Standalone exe runs fine on WinXP. But there are some requirements:

  • it needs 3d graphic card with OpenGL drivers
  • textures should be packed into exe file
  • if external Python modules are used, they should be distributed with exe
  • there should be no print in Python scripts if console is disabled

And…

the EXE file must have made in Windows OS …I guess

Any scripts that import the Blender module won’t work in an EXE either.
