Damn, thought this was a resin print! Details insane for FDM.

Amazing work on the modelling and the paint job! :star_struck:

Haha thanks, I chose FDM primarily for convenience and health, but it turned out to be much better than I had imagined.

It looks amazing, wish I had a wife that could paint like that.

As good as it looks, you can see its not a resin print, the sea especially has very noticeable step layers from the printing process. But even so, it did a pretty darn good job, given the final size.

Great work all round. The print looks very clean with no noticeable support scars. The one thing that puts me off going FDM is the supports. What is it like removing supports on FDM compared to resin?

Removing the supports was easy, but the quality of the supports was particularly poor.

This is super cool. I’m curious why you chose to print everything in sections and reassemble it. Was it to make painting easier? Was it hard to glue everything back together seamlessly?

If you don’t separate them, many places will be difficult to color. Among the figures, mine has fewer points because I used acrylic pen to paint. If I use spray paint, I will need to separate more.
