Wings 0.96.05 is out ...

Ha ha! Beat you MaceG!

you’re evil! :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey ho!

I’ve finally tried it now. It’s one damn fine modeler. Makes me proud to be a Swede (not a very frequently occuring feeling, I tell ya).

Has anyone tried the UV-plugin? Does it export the texcoords as well if saved as, f’rinstance, an OBJ-file?

I can’t believe it.
My heart breaks. I mourn.
The greatest joy of my life, snatched away by the EVIL Hos.
The CRUEL Hos.
Why, Hos, why?

Yeah – I think it’s very cool too. Almost finished modelling my
first character:

(still needs work, but getting there!)

Word of warning: make sure to either triangulate or quadrangulate
objects before importing into blender (blender dosn’t like the n-gons
and leaves holes). Haven’t tried the UV plugin yet.

Hahaha! 8)

UV plug-in is a no go.

Just export an nendo-file in Wings3d and use the nendo-import-script on

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/scorpius/blender_suites.htm

to import the file in blender. It’s much more easier and leaves no holes!

Hey, pretty cool. Damn nice in fact. I’ve installed Wings, but haven’t worked with it much. Seeing stuff like this makes me want to spend some time with it.

Hi
yes great poligon modeler
export in WRML and import in Blender 2.25 work fine too
cool model tobur 8)

2 min simple modeling imported in Blender

Kino

Yeah. WRML is loads better than DXF.
Alot smoother.
But why is the imported model parented to an empty?

Ther’s only the default plane and camera
no parenting
