Hi all!
This is my last work, rendered in Yafaray.
Hope you like.
cool modeling and texturing! you put a lot of work into this.
next up pose and other post production things like snow particles in the air, ice on the armour? the snow on the ground deserves some attention, especially close to the area of interest (feet). How did he get there, no footprints?
It is nice and it really does need some post production done.
@zeffii he just fell from the sky hence no footprints.
Yes guys! It was grown from the ground!
No, it was just an exercise in hard surfaces modeling, so I’ve just thought about a simple environment to put it in…maybe too simple ^^
Few days ago I’ve tried to add, in postpro, some snow falling, but it cover the model too much…
I don’t think it covers the model up at all, I think it helps with the image over all and gives it character.
Nice modelling, the surfaces are clean and straight. Maybe the proportion are a bit unbalanced (but this is a personal feeling) like the feats too small.
I prefer too the second render with snow
If there is a person in there, his head is mush and his shoulders have been gently seperated from his body and placed about 40 centimtres too far out
Very ncie work, but some slight proportion problems in an around the place.
forgot to write that it is based on an Adrian Majkrzak illustration http://blog.twitchfinger.com/
The proportions are similar to the original design. I’ve tried to make them more natural, without changing the feeling of the original painting
