Great work, @AlexMcKonst! I’d love to have a go at your tools, but I’ve completely moved to Blender 2.8. Do you think you’ll find the time to update the tools for Blender 2.8 soon? I expect to donate once I’ve started using the tools.

Thanks!

Since ‘GreasePencil’ 2.8 is different from 2.79. I have to change the concept. Work is underway.

That’s great, please keep us informed! :+1:

Hello!

A year has passed since the release of the GCut 8 addon.

In anticipation of the release under Blender 2.8, it is worth remembering about some of the functions from the ‘GCurve’ tab.
One-year-old videos are attached to the post.

A bit of history:
GCut was originally conceived as a kind of resuscitation of a famous blender sculpturing supplement, but after a while it had a lot of interesting (sometimes spontaneous and unexpected) functions that simplify and speed up the working and creative process. Ideas were born on the move and immediately imprinted in the body of the add-on, revealing their possibilities and as far as real use in practice.

Thanks to the capabilities of the new version of Blender 2.8, working with the updated and expanded GCut addon will be even more interesting …

Ps.
Thank you for your feedback and support, which the author receives to this day. They are very helpful and inspire new ideas.

Have a good sculpturing, modeling and CG art.

Your latest post gave me the impression that GCut 8 is now available for 2.8. So downloaded the latest, but in init.py I see “blender”: (2, 79, 0),

Are you planning to port the addon over to Blender 2.8?
