That was quite a project, i was quite nostalgic and stressed doing it since it will be my first ever challenge, i hope you will enjoy the breakdown as much as i enjoyed doing it.
The inspiration was as the title suggest project Duran, or Blender Open movie project Sintel, this movie make me fall in love with blender and since it has been my favorite tool to make both personal and professional work.
i try to imagine what will a stylized Sintel look like, after she make it out the dragon Cave and the little dragon following her, i modelise the face than groom hair particles before changing my mind and go full stylized and make curves hair with object bevel, i then stitch the body with a stylized base mesh i found on artstation, take the adult dragon on blender cloud or similar repository, cut the body and keep the head, try to find a good composition and lighting(i was inspired by Julien Kaspar sculpt January rim lights ) then try to upload it on Sketchfab to see if it run smoothly, unfortunatly, i get an error each time.
i will upload all image later, i also have the recording of the face modeling process.

Hey! As we’re entering the final days of the challenge, I’d like to give you some helpful tips to make sure you can successfully complete your entry. Please see my new post on the FAQ topic.
hI Bart, i can’t seem to upload the scene on sketchfab unfortunaly, i might have to bake and convert all the shaders to pbr maps, i’ll try to find some time and do that before the deadline.
Correct; Sketchfab does not support shader or geometry nodes.
You can do it! Make sure to get it on Sketchfab by Thursday, September 15, and tag it #bcon22challenge
Hey! Just a quick reminder that there’s now less than 12 hours remaining to wrap up your challenge entry - submissions close at 2022-09-15T21:59:00Z, GMT+1 (click on the link for some international times).
If you haven’t done so already, please review this post which contains some essential information for preparing your submission.
At the very least, upload your work to Sketchfab as soon as possible and add the #bcon22challenge tag.
It’s also a good idea to add a link to your WIP topic in the description of your Sketchfab model so we can easily find it.
I’ll also keep a close eye on the FAQ topic today, so if you have any issues or questions please post it there as soon as possible.
